PV Sindhu seems to be enjoying her days as a newlywed. The sports star has been making stylish public appearances with her husband, Venkata Datta Sai, earning admiration for her impeccable sartorial choices. She recently shared a post from a friend’s wedding, where she was seen joyfully posing with her life partner. Both wore traditional attire for the special occasion.
PV Sindhu, known for her opulent style, chose a traditional Kanjeevaram saree in a rich purple hue, featuring a classic traditional border. She looked radiant in the neatly pleated six-yard drape styled elegantly across her waist. Not shying away from colour, she accessorised with a layered pearl necklace adorned with multi-hued stones, paired with matching earrings. The ace badminton player styled her tresses in soft curls and elevated the look with glossy, shimmery makeup.
Her husband, Venkata Datta Sai, looked handsome in an ivory kurta-pyjama set, layered with a half jacket in soft hues of peach and pink. He paired the traditional ensemble with stylish Louis Vuitton loafers. The couple smiled joyfully for the picture, which Sindhu captioned as, “Me and Mine.”
Sindhu’s wedding, which took place in December in the presence of loved ones, was a grand affair. Both she and her husband celebrated their union in style, choosing top designers for their wedding ensembles. The bride shared glimpses of the festivities on Instagram.
For the main wedding ceremony, Sindhu looked breathtaking in a handcrafted red Sabyasachi lehenga made from Mysore silk, paired with a kanthi silk blouse. She completed the bridal look with an intricately embroidered dupatta.
For the second wedding ceremony, the Padma Shri recipient dazzled in a gold handwoven tissue saree by Manish Malhotra. Styled with the designer’s signature veil, the ensemble looked tailor-made for her. She accessorised with diamond and emerald jewellery, including a traditional kamarbandh.
These looks, among many others, showcase Sindhu’s love for fashion. From western gowns to fusion attires, she sported a variety of styles during her wedding celebrations, all customised to perfection. Her maximalist aesthetic caught the interest of many Internet users.
