Aamir Khan visits his 'Laal Singh Chaddha' editor Hemanti Sarkar in hospital after she suffers a stroke

Superstar Aamir Khan made a visit to a hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday evening to meet his editor, Haimanti Sarkar, who reportedly suffered a stroke.

Sarkar, known for her collaborations with Khan on films like 'Laal Singh Chaddha' and 'Secret Superstar,' has worked on numerous other acclaimed projects including 'Stree,' 'Airlift,' and 'English Vinglish.'

Meanwhile, Aamir recenlty opened up about the unexpected setback of 'Laal Singh Chaddha,' the Hindi adaptation of 'Forrest Gump,' during an honest conversation on 'The Great Indian Kapil Show.' The actor expressed his hurt over the film's failure, admitting it was a dream project, co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Aamir Khan shouldered the responsibility for the movie's underperformance and revealed its emotional impact on him.

Aamir expressed his deep disappointment, acknowledging the collective effort put into the film. He recognized a potential gap in the movie, which might have contributed to the audience's discontent. Reflecting on his performance, he admitted to pushing it too far, unable to sustain it consistently. He vowed to rectify this in his future projects, emphasizing the invaluable lessons learned from failures.

Earlier this year, Aamir addressed the disappointing response to the film during his speech at the ABP Ideas of India Summit 3.0. He expressed his personal attachment to the project, highlighting the efforts of director Advait Chandan, co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan, and the entire team. Despite their hard work, the film fell short of expectations.
