Priyanka Chopra shares video of Los Angeles wildfire from home; Adam Brody, Anthony Hopkin, Paris Hilton lose homes, Ben Affleck, Tom Hanks others flee area

The Palisades fire in Los Angeles has left a trail of destruction, claiming multi-million dollar homes of Hollywood A-list celebrities and forcing many others to evacuate as flames engulfed upscale neighbourhoods and historic landmarks.

Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra, who resides in Los Angeles, took to social media to share a harrowing video of the wildfire from her home, expressing concern for those residing in the affected areas. The clip posted on her Instagram stories saw the rapidly spreading flames at a distance. "My thoughts are with everyone affected. Hope we are all abe to be safe tonight," she captioned the clip.

The actress also shared a photo of a helicopter of first responders trying hard to douse the fires. Extending her gratitude to the people, she wrote, "A huge shout out to the incredibly brave first responders. Thank you for working tirelessly overnight and continuing to help families affected."

Several celebrities reportedly lost their homes in the raging fires. Among the many was The Princess Bride star Cary Elwes, who shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram in a note that read, “Sadly we did lose our home, but we are grateful to have survived this truly devastating fire.”

Paris Hilton also confirmed the destruction of her Malibu home, sharing a video of the damage. “This home was where we built so many precious memories,” she wrote, referencing her children, Phoenix and London. “The devastation is unimaginable. To know so many are waking up today without the place they called home is truly heartbreaking.”

Adam Brody and Leighton Meester also lost their swanky $6.5 million property which was burned to ash by the raging fires.

Debris was all that was left behind of Anna Faris' multimillion-dollar mansion because of the blaze. Photos of Miles Teller's home showed only the foundation of the $7 million home intact after the fire.

According to Page Six, Eugene Levy’s house also did not survive the massive fire. While photos showed that only pillars and stairs were all that remained of Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins' home.
