Netflix's 'Heeramandi' actor Jason Shah: 'Salman Khan was 3 hours late for a shoot, Katrina Kaif cut my role in Fitoor because…'

Jason Shah was recently seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Netflix’s Heeramandi. He was also seen with Salman Khan in Partner and Katrina Kaif in Fitoor. In an interview with Entertainment Live, Shah spilled some beans on Bhai’s tardiness. He said, “I started modeling when I was 17–18. I did a small scene in the song ‘Dupatta Tera Nau Rang Da’ in Partner. That’s where I was bitten by the acting bug. I wanted to live this amazing life.”

The actor added, “Salman Khan aaya 3 baje dopahar mein apni motorbike pe, koi kuch kaam nahi kar raha, 4:30 baj raha hai, producer khada hai bol raha hai, ‘Sir, ek shot lelo’ (Salman Khan would arrive on set at 3 in the afternoon on his motorbike, nobody would do any work. At 4:30, the producer would request with folded hands that he do just one shot. I loved it. It looked like a relaxed life.”

On Katrina Kaif and Fitoor’s role being cut

So, I think for the sake of TRPs, that was actually changed. What I said was that Katrina needed some part of the movie reshot for whatever personal reasons she had. And because of that, something of mine was left out. Because I understand that producers are working within budgets and things like that. I think what came out was that I was cut out of the movie because of Katrina Kaif. I don't even think she would have a call like that. You know, as an actress, I think she does her job very professionally.
