‘Shame On You Bigg Boss’ People Angry With #MeToo Accused Sajid’s Entry In Salman’s Show
October 03,2022After a flop show last year, India’s biggest reality show Bigg Boss finally returned to the TV screens last night (October 1) with its sixteenth season.
This time, a total of 15 contestants including known names like Tina Datta, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Sumbul Touqeer, and Abdu Rozik have entered the Bigg Boss house.
Hosted by Salman Khan, the controversial reality show makes headlines every year mostly due to wrong reasons. This time too, the show started trending on Twitter just after the grand premiere and the reason is Sajid Khan.
Well, the Housefull director has entered the Bigg Boss 16 house as a contestant leaving everyone surprised. For the unversed, he was accused of sexual harassment by several women a few years ago during the #MeTooIndia movement.
Interestingly, Bigg Boss 13 finalist Shehnaaz Gill too was seen supporting him through a video message during the episode.
Ever since Sajid’s entry was aired, social media users have been expressing their displeasure and are bashing the makers as well as Shehnaaz for supporting him.
Reacting to Sajid’s entry, a social media user tweeted, “It's amazing how people accused of such a serious crime come on TV n act so cool with no shame at all. To top it @BiggBoss is already treating him with such great respect. Wrong move BB!! He has no regrets of his actions. #BiggBoss16GrandPremiere”
Another user tweeted, “How to legitimise a serial abuser, the Bollywood way? so shameful for this guy to be even given a platform and disappointing to see #ShenazGill provide support. A woman supporting this vile is embarrassing. #SajidKhan”
A third post read, “It is just horrible to see sexual assaulter and #Metoo convict Sajid Khan is given stage on a popular show in Indian television. #Bigboss and @viacom18 shame on you. Is this the image makeover ur trying to bring in? #bigboss16 #BigBoss”

Interestingly, Shehnaaz has bagged one of the lead roles in Sajid Khan’s comeback project as a director. Titled 100%, the film also stars John Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh, and Nora Fatehi in the lead roles.
Now, it’ll be interesting to see how the makers and host Salman will react to the ongoing criticism.
