Lt. General Nimbhorkar Academy unveils an oceans of opportunities in Defence, Paramilitary & State Police forces

We are celebrating Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav' with great zeal & enthusiasm in this year. All of us are a witness to this historical year. Another good news for us is that we are one of the youngest nations in the world. Our average age is 28.4, hence our youth are going to script tomorrow's future.... However, the monster of unemployment is slowly discouraging our youth & keeping them away from mainstream of economy. Maharashtra has about 48 lakh registered unemployed candidates while number of unregistered ones is still higher. Vidarbha has more than 6 lakhs registered unemployed youth. There is a dire need to channelize the youth energy and explore new horizons of employment for them other than conventional ones, expressed Lt. General Rajendra Nimbhorkar (PVSM, UVSM, AVSM, SM**, VSM) in his messege in a Press Conference held on 22nd October 2021 at Press Club. He further expressed the need of making the youth aware about the non- officer grade posts available in Army / Navy/ Airforce / Paramilitary & State Police forces. Youth can become "Pride of the Nation" by joining armed forces. Azadi ,once gained has to be retained too. Defence holds the key to our freedom, he emphasized.

Vice Admiral Soonil Bhokare (AVSM, YSM, NSM) one of the Patrons of Lt. General Nimbhorkar Academy, in his audio message stressed the need to groom youth from variety of background to join armed forces as JCOs and ORs. He appealed to media to spread awareness about employment opportunities available on large scale in this sector. He stressed the need to avail the benefit of guidance and training provided by Lt. General Nimbhorkar academy located in the heart of Central India.

Air Vice Marshal Vijay Wankhade, another Patron of Academy brought forth the king size life available to a youth on joining Armed forces. For various categories of entrants M.C.A / M.Sc/ M.A/ B.Ed/ B.Sc/ B.C.A/ B.A/ Diploma in Engineering, Diploma in HMCT, Diploma in Pharmacy/ 12th, 10th, 8th, there is enough scope for employment in this sector, he said. Life in forces provides family security, Incentives, handsome salary in addition to a dignified life, he expressed.

Others advisors of Academy present on this occasion were Brigadier Sunil Patil, Colonel Shirish Mujumdar enlightened the audience about various Gaopande, Colonel Shirish Mujumdar, Colonel K.C.Murthy, Colonel Rous avenues available for youth in forces. Brigadier Sunil Gaopande focused on the interview process of various exams of Defence. Colonel Raju Patil spoke at length about the various dimensions of one's personality which are required to be polished through intensive training and pin pointed guidance. Colonel K.C Murthy appreciated the thought of starting an academy for lesser fortunate youth while celebrating "Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav'

Professor Anil Wankhade, on behalf of Academy, while reaffirming the importance of Defence, put forth the thought of propagating various employment avenues by spreading awareness through flexes, banners, hoardings in Schools / Colleges & Organizations. As this is a service to community too, marks for the same should be counted for NAAC & NBA he expressed. He also appealed to press to publish the advertisement regarding Defence entries on priority basis. A 'Defence Corner' space should be earmarked in various Newspapers through their CSR activities.

It was reported by Dr. Rajeshwari Wankhade that the state - of - Art Lt. General Nimbhorkar Academy is fully equipped to provide customized training for Defence, Paramilitary & State Police forces to youth of Vidarbha.. For the benefit of youth, the academy shall run two free Programmes for awareness from 8th to 14th November 2021 and from 16th to 19th Novembe 2021. A long-term course of six months shall commence at the end December, she informed. Professor Anil Wankhade & Dr Rajeshwari Wankhade coordinated program on behalf of Lt.
