Tirpude Institute of Management Education (TIME), Central India’s leading management institute, provides innovative activity based learning opportunities to its students. Management Aptitude Development (MADness 2019) programme was organized as a part of this, for MBA students, at a resort in Sillari – Pench, from 1st to 3rd November, 2019. The unique event saw a participation of 144 students from semester 1 and 3 of MBA.

Eight teams, comprising of 15-17 students, each, and a team of faculty members, all sporting whacky names formed the basic competitive structure of MADness 2019. An organizing committee of 15 students planned and supervised the execution of all activities. The theme for this edition of MADness was on the lines of BigBoss, where students underwent eight different tasks in two days time, followed by adventure activities on the third day at an adventure camp in Ramtek. The various activities under MADness 2019 were - 1 st day: Kheech Meri Photo, Taran Taal Pratiyogita, BB ka Kaarkhana, Kaptaan ka Apaharan and some fun activities. 2nd day: BB Poultry Farm, Villa ka Vigyapan, Sajaavat ka Vyapaar and Bigg Boss ki Farmaeesh.

All the MADness teams reached the adventure camp at Ramtek, on day-3, where they participated in adventure activities like Trekking, Ladder Bridge, Bermuda Triangle Bridge, Rock Climbing and Rifle Shooting. Tremendous competitive spirit was observed among students during these three days of MADness. Prize distribution was held at end of day-2. Winners were: 1 st position won by Team Ullu ke Patthe (Rs.12,500), 2nd position won by Team Gochi Gang (Rs.10,000) and 3rd position won by Team Wild Vampires and Team Jungle Walkers (Rs.5,000 each). Students of the organizing committee were presented appreciation letters and the team of 12 faculty members was given a small token of gratitude for its enthusiastic participation and overall guidance. The entire MADness 2019 event was coordinated by faculty members Dr. Sridevi Jaiswal, Prof. Prerna Kothari and Prof. Mahesh Joshi.
