Johnny Lever, who was also a part of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus’, recently opened up about the debacle of the film. The ace comedian also admitted to the fact that there were some mistakes that they made but nothing can be done about it now.

In an interview with a news portal, Johnny said every director thinks well about the film, nobody wants to do loss because they invest heavily in the film — money wise and emotion wise, a lot of effort goes into making films. According to him, in ‘Cirkus’, whatever work they did was appreciated.

He also added that there could have been some mistakes in the film in totality that people didn’t like because of which the film didn’t work. However, nothing can be done about that now. People look forward to comedy, people expect it from us all the time, Johnny told Indian Express.

‘Cirkus’ starred Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde and Varun Sharma in lead roles. It also featured actors like Siddharth Jadhav, Murali Sharma, Sanjay Mishra, Ashwini Kalsekar and others in key roles.

On the work front, Johnny will next be seen in the comedy series ‘Pop Kaun’ which also features Kunal Kemmu, Saurabh Shukla, Nupur Sanon, and late actor Satish Kaushik.
